These sweet millefiori can be used in any season, but these just look like Christmas to me. They were hand-pulled by me in my glass shop’s vitrigraph kiln, then fully annealed and tested. Widths range (see dime for size reference). They were photographed in the best lighting possible to show accurate colors (however all computer monitors render colors differently). I use Oceanside fusible glass in my murrini unless specified in the listing. COE 96.
Since these contain Fern Green and Vanilla Cream next to each other, in a full fuse a dark line will form between the two areas. The hotter the fuse the darker this line will become. See the photo of this murrini fused from the front and the back and you see the reaction. Sometimes this can get on the darker side and might become undesirable, so a test tile to check the reaction with the top temp you are planning to use is recommended. This reaction line isn’t very apparent in a tack fuse.
This listing is for 1oz, which is approximately 6 two inch long pieces of cane. Once received, the cane can be snipped as thick or thin as you’d like. Tack fused, these flowers remain pretty much as you see it in the cane. Full fused causes the center to shrink inward and the petals to bloom out. So you can achieve two different looks with the same murrini.
