Chubby Starfish, 1oz, COE 96 Murrini Millefiori

I tried something a bit different with the setup of this week’s version of the starfish. The changes I made caused the center to be a bit chubbier and the legs shorter. Still adorable, but they are different than past starfish that had longer legs. These canes are also on the smaller side and on the darker side. It has a deep rich color, but might need to be placed on a lighter background color to stand out well. Lovely tack fused to fully fused. 

These adorable Murrini Starfish are perfect for all your underwater or beach scenes! They were hand-pulled by me in my glass shop’s vitrigraph kiln, annealed and tested. See dime for size reference. They were photographed in the best lighting possible to show accurate colors (however all computer monitors render colors differently). COE 96.

This listing is for 1oz of two-inch long canes, which is approximately 6-7 canes. Once received, the cane can be snipped as thick or thin as you’d like. If snipped into 3mm chips, you will get approximately 15 pieces per cane.
