Full Fuse Orange Poppy Blossom, 1oz, COE 96 Murrini Millefiori

Somewhat understated in cane form, this gorgeous poppy blossom absolutely BLOOMS when fully fused or "flip and fused". It can certainly be tack fused, but its bold personality comes out when its inner circle shrinks in and the petals elongate in a full fuse. Have fun with this one!

The above photo shows this murrini fused different ways. Far left is snipped just off the cane which is how it will look lightly tack fused. The second from left is a 5mm piece fully fused into a dot. Second from right is fully fused on a small piece of clear glass BEFORE it was flip and fused. The far right has been flip and fused. Pretty cool stuff!

They were hand-pulled by me in my glass shop’s vitrigraph kiln, then fully annealed and tested. Widths range slightly in each order (see dime for size reference). They were photographed in the best lighting possible to show accurate colors (however all computer monitors render colors differently). I use Oceanside fusible glass in my murrini unless specified in the listing. COE 96.

This listing is for 1oz, which is approximately 5-6 two inch long pieces of cane. Once received, the cane can be snipped as thick or thin as you’d like. Tack fused, these flowers remain pretty much as you see it in the cane. Full fused causes the center to shrink inward and the petals to bloom out. So you can achieve two different looks with the same murrini.
