SECONDS Transparent Christmas Bulbs, 1.5+oz, COE 96 Murrini Millefiori

SECONDS. Seconds are murrini canes that are at the beginning or end of the best part of the pull where the design is either not fully formed yet or is starting to fade away. Seconds may also be perfect on the inside, but have a ding or chip on the exterior. Also, murrini that have a tiny pinhole on the inside are considered seconds as well.

There will be mixes and packages of single colors available. Packages will also have various sized bulbs. The mixes will have two each of the 5 colors (10 canes total).

•Some canes may have perfectly striped tops, but may have a chip or be wonky shaped.

•Some canes may have just a tiny bit of the top showing and are called "Early Pull" canes. These still work great as bulbs.

•Some of the canes with swirly tops may no longer look like bulbs, which I call "Late Pull", but they will make for spectacular flowers either tack fused or fully fused.

I prefer using wheeled nippers placed in the fattest part of the bulb for nipping. 

These will be sold in 1.5+oz. packages, which will have two of each color in them.

These murrini were hand-pulled by me in my glass shop’s vitrigraph kiln, annealed and tested. Photo is of actual batch. 

I use Oceanside fusible glass in my shop unless specified in the listing. COE 96. If snipped into 3mm chips, you will get approximately 15 pieces per cane.
